HP là một trong những hãng laptop/ máy tính cung cấp nhiều dòng laptop thuộc nhiều phân khúc từ giá rẻ đến cao cấp nên số người dùng laptop HP ở Việt Nam là không hề nhỏ. Vì vậy HP cũng cung cấp kho driver trực tuyến cho các sản phẩm của mình.
Hướng dẫn cách tìm và tải về Driver “chính hãng” cho laptop HP
Bước 1: Bạn xem tên Model laptop HP theo hướng dẫn ở đây.
Bước 2: Bạn truy cập theo liên kết sau: http://support.hp.com/vn-en/drivers
Bước 3: Nhập tên Model laptop lấy được trong bước 1 (như ở đây Model laptop HP của mình là Pavilion 14 ab019TU) vào khung Enter my HP model number rồi nhấn nút Find my product (hoặc nhấn phím Enter).
Bước 4: Lúc này bạn sẽ thấy các thông tin về chiếc laptop HP của bạn. Bạn nhấn nút Change bên phải phần Software available for your operating system… để chọn hệ điều hành Windows mà bạn đang dùng.
Bước 5: Chọn hệ điều hành trong phần Operating System (Microsoft Windows chính là hệ điều hành Windows thông dụng), và chọn phiên bản của hệ điều hành trong phần Version rồi nhấn nút Update .
Bước 6: Sau khi chọn hệ điều hành và phiên bản xong, danh sách các driver dành cho PC/Laptop HP của bạn sẽ xuất. Bạn nhấn vào tên driver hoặc dấu + bên phải để xem chi tiết và hiện nút Download.
Chú ý một số Driver quan trọng: Audio (Âm thanh); Graphics (Đồ họa); Network (mạng); Chipset, USB; Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices (bàn phím, chuột và các thiết bị đầu vào), Bluetooth và Webcam.
Bước 7: Nhấn nút Download bên phải Driver để tải về Driver đó [chú ý 2 phần Version (phiên bản) và Updated (ngày cập nhật) để download driver mới nhất]
Bước 8: HP khuyến khích sử dụng công cụ của hãng để tải Driver về, cách này không cần thiết. Bạn tích vào phần Download Only (không sử dụng phần mềm hỗ trợ) và Do not show this message again (Không hiện lại thông báo này) sau đó nhấn nút Next .
Lưu ý: Thông báo này chỉ hiện 1 lần nếu bạn tích vào lựa chọn Do not show this message again
Bước 9: Tiếp tục nhấn nút Next để bắt đầu quá trình tải về Driver.
Driver tải về máy tính sẽ có thể có định dạng *.EXE hoặc *.ZIP.
Với tập tin *.EXE bạn có thể nhấn đúp chuột lên tập tin đó để cài đặt luôn.
Với tập tin *.ZIP, bạn phải giải nén, sau đó chạy tập tin *.EXE trong thư mục vừa giải nén để cài đặt.
